Sandvik has delivered the first three of six new Sandvik LH517i loaders to Glencore's George Fisher mine outside of Mount Isa in north-west Queensland. The loaders feature our new Stage V engines and AutoMine™ Multi Lite, which enables each operator to remotely, and simultaneously, supervise multiple Sandvik underground loaders. The benefits of Stage V compliant loaders include reducing the amount of particles in the diesel exhaust, helping our customers to improve air quality underground. Additionally, Stage V loaders are capable of operating with up to 3 percent reduced fuel consumption compared to the lower Stages. #mining #automation #futureofmining #sandvik
